What to do Before and After a Rental?

Research Renter

We also encourage each Shuttershare community member to do their own research on renters. Review or ask for social media information and ask questions to ensure a high level of comfort with the transaction.

Pre-Rental Photos/Video

Take pictures and or videos which depict the core functionality of each piece of equipment. Ensure they are taken on a device that can timestamp the photos or videos such as your phone camera.

Check User ID Upon Pickup

Review and photograph the renter's ID when they arrive. If the ID does not reflect the name listed on the rental, contact Shuttershare customer service via our website or email support@shuttershare.io.

Report Damage

As a renter or a lister you witness any damage to equipment it must be reported to Shuttershare within 24 hours. Use the claim submission portal found within the footer of the Shuttershare site or contact Shuttershare customer service.
